FLORENTIA IKONOMIDOU

Born in Athens

She studied Painting at the Zavaro workshop and Mosaic at the Riccardo Licata workshop at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Additionally, she studied Painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts under the guidance of Nikos Kessanlis, with co-teachers Leda Papakonstantinou and Nestoras Papanikolopoulos, and Printmaking at the Athens School of Fine Arts under the guidance of Thanasis Exarchopoulos. She was nominated four times for a scholarship and graduated with honors. She completed a postgraduate art project with an IKY scholarship under the supervision of Professor Thanasis Exarchopoulos of the Athens School of Fine Arts.

She is Professor in Drawing- Color and Printmaking.at the Department of Product and Systems Design of Syros Aegean University

Her work includes constructions,paintings, prints, animation, installations.
